Sean Rothsey - Chief Executive Officer As CEO and Managing Director, Sean Rothsey adds considerable skills and value to RegMe. An exceptional mediator and negotiator, his success as a director in both public and private companies has been reflected in many industries.
Overseeing the company’s infrastructure, finance, business, legal affairs and strategic alliances, Sean is a man of proven ability, repute and integrity.
Sean is the past President of the Sunshine Coast Combined Equestrian Groups Inc and past Chairman of the Organising Committee for the Doonan Eventing Group (Noosa, QLD) (2006 - 2009). He is also accredited as a Level 3 National Eventing Technical Delegate under the EFA National Officiating Accreditation Scheme.
Sean has previously organized an EFA Accredited Course Design Seminar and an EFA Accredited Technical Delegates Clinic.
Sean is an accomplished sportsman, having been a Schoolboy and Club 1st 15 Rugby breakaway in Sydney and Auckland, a NSW Schoolboy Athletic Champion for many years over a number of middle and long distances, as well as a State Cross Country Representative. Sean has achieved Intermediate Star, Bronze Star and Bronze Medallion from the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia, is a competent body surfer, motor cross rider and also trained for several years in equestrian endurance.
John Miles - IT & Online Marketing ManagerOver the last 20 years, John has had a remarkable career and a solid history of marketing success working closely with large corporate and technology companies, providing IT, marketing communication and design services as well as contracting to government agencies as a senior IT developer and advisor.
Having an astute commercial acumen and is well pedigreed in sales and marketing communications know-how, John has held senior marketing and project management roles across many industries including retail, manufacturing, engineering and IT with a strong focus on coordinating the development of corporate and industry marketing strategies, through product design, testing, production, and manufacturing.
John possesses years of practical hands-on experience as a creative director assisting corporate businesses develop strategies and programs to better position themselves with today’s ever changing customers and to capitalize on technology innovations in online commerce and B2B developments.
With the proliferation of online marketing, John has been responsible for concept development and the design and production of a range of projects including corporate identity programs, trade advertising, marketing collateral, direct mail campaigns, print media campaigns, exhibit graphics, online marketing campaigns, transaction and data warehouses database design, web branding and website design. John is also
an ackomplished project manager and hands on web developer with commercial experience
in Microsoft SQL database design and data warehousing and is well versed in web
based computer languages such as ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, Javascript, Actionscript and
CSS.
John is passionate about the internet and internet marketing with a strong focus on Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing and Affiliate marketing programs. Working closely with some of the top financial and online trading companies in Australia, John is responsible for developing cost-effective results-driven Internet marketing strategies and corporate identity branding.
John is also a professional graphic designer, animator and pre-press print specialist producing quality digital art for retail, corporate and the sporting organizations. He has been instrumental in the development of highly successful ecommerce, creative marketing campaigns for companies such as Video Ezy, Fujutsu and Rio Tinto and brings a wealth of practical hands-on experience to the group.

Originally from the United Kingdom, John was President of a UK Community Group and served on numerous Local and Regional sporting committees, including Squash, Football,
Swimming, Endurance Cycling and Athletics.
John can be found most weekends mountain biking, bush walking and surfing.
Amy Colley - Executive Assistant Working her way through the ranks to establish an enviable background in legal and financial professional services, Amy brings to the RegMe team a high level of executive competence and a warm and infectious personality.
As a commercially astute business woman, Amy (along with her husband Wayne) is a Proprietor of Pomona Produce & Pet Supplies. She juggles this successful business venture with her demanding and important executive role with the RegMe team.
Amy is registered as a Commissioner for Declarations for The Queensland Department of Justice & Attorney General’s Office, a Justice of the Peace and is currently completing her Associate Degree of Law.
Amy concentrates on Financial Control , Treasury Management , Commercial , Business and Legal Affairs , Property Management , Financial Planning and Investment Strategies in core portfolios of the Group as well.
Sporting Links
Amy has attained a 1st Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate-do and as such has been an instructor and organiser for the Australian Shotokan Karate-do Association. She is also a Member of the Pomona Pony Club; a past participant of Rodeo Eventing and a time keeper for the Four-Wheel-Drive Eventing and Rally Car Eventing throughout Queensland.
Rebecca McNeilly - Commercial Affairs
Rebecca rejoined The Merkin Group on 1 November 2009 after a 2 year absence in real estate sales, support and administration as well as website content management and payment gateways.
Originally with us during 2006 Rebecca's history also includes financial control, accounts and administration, sales, customer service, and marketing. IT literate Rebecca is proficient in many software applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, ProShowGold4, Synergy Unit, Adobe IN Design CS3, Photoshop, VCNViewer, MYOB, Consol Gateway, Macpro, MyDesktop and various Gateway Payment Solutions.
Rebecca has attained a Certificate IV in Property, Certificate III in Retail Operations and Certificate III in Transport and Distribution.
Jordan Duffy - Finance and Administration Officer Jordan commenced working at RegMe in early 2007. As a dedicated and focused member of the RegMe team, Jordan has continually set herself new challenges, attaining her certificate III in Business Administration. As a proactive administration assistant Jordan’s roles have included, but were not limited to client liaison, book keeping, online marketing, events management, accounts management, accounts receivable and general business correspondence.
From 2009 Jordan’s main focus is in our media and entertainment businesses front office management, financial control and treasury management, accounts payable and receivable, title management, foreign exchange dealing , banking reconciliation, E & O Insurance, training and assistance in commercial, legal and business affairs, records keeping and filing.
Commencing 2009 Jordan is completing her Bachelor of Business -Accounting at the University of The Sunshine Coast and RegME & The Merkin Group are supporting her in those studies.
Jordan epitomises The Merkin Group team’s commitment, maturity and expertise demonstrated beyond her years and experience.
Prior to joining the RegMe team, Jordan worked as an Agriculture Trainee at the Darlington Stud where she gained hands on experience in the care of horses, including diet and medication. She was also required to drive many forms of farm machinery, including tractors, bobcats, quad bikes and various other farm vehicles.
Jordan also gained valuable exposure to veterinary procedures at the Eumundi Range Road Veterinary Practice.

Jordan has an illustrious equestrian career – attaining the Half Blue Sports Award for being a State Finalist in the Interschool Riding Team. Recently Jordan has commenced her EFA Level 1 Instructors Course and placed in the top 10 in both the QISEA and Pony Club Eventing State Championships.
Not only is Jordan involved in equestrian activities, she has also received her Bronze Star from the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia; umpired at local junior netball competitions; was a representative of her school in the District Swimming Championships and a District Representative for the Sunshine Coast Basketball Team.
Trish Rothsey - AssistantTrish began full time work at RegMe in early 2006. She has since completed her Certificate III in Business Administration. Trish’s current role includes front office management, financial control and treasury management, foreign exchange dealing , database management, accounts payable and receivable, banking reconciliation, records keeping and filing.Trish is also receiving training by and assisting Sean and Amy in Commercial Property Management and Financial Planning and Investment Strategies in core portfolios of the Group.
Trish’s equestrian passion since the tender age of 2 has led her to gain invaluable agricultural experience on a Brahman Cattle Station and a Thoroughbred Spelling Stud on the Sunshine Coast. Her duties included, among other things, branding, tagging, halter breaking and handling of livestock.
Trish brings to the RegMe team a bright and confident young mind and a willingness to exceed in all aspects of her duties.
Sporting Links
Trish has a long and illustrious equestrian career – spanning over many disciplines, including eventing (show jumping, dressage & cross country), camp drafting and barrel racing. Trish has represented the Queensland Junior Eventing Elite Squad (top 7 entrants in the State) for the past 3 consecutive years.
Trish has competed at State, National and International Level, including National 2 Star in Eventing.
Trish is currently working extremely hard at bringing a new horse through the ranks.
Reg New to the corporate world, yet full of enthusiasm and vigour, Reg is a fundamental force in all manner of sporting events.Never one to sit and play dead or let the tail wag the dog, Reg can often be seen leading the team.
Reg is a true all round sportsman and his list of achievements are too long to list here. Suffice to say Reg knows how to collar the best team for any event and will continue to hunt down the best people to do the job. Reg is currently working closely with a team of fitness managers, dieticians and sports psychologists to ensure he retains his competitive edge.
Reg is a connoisseur of a wide range of sports and organized activities and is looking forward to joining you in your chosen sport or activity soon.
